Appleton -Menasha Wisconsin Tornado
Appleton - Menasha , Wisconsin area was struck by an EF-3 tornado that devastated parts of Appleton and Menasha on July 27th 2026.
The tornado was estimated to have produced winds up to 140 miles per hour.
It reached 1800 yards wide at its widest point, just a hair over a mile wide at 1.02 miles wide.
Lena, Illinois EF2 Tornado
Lena, Illinois April 17th, 2026 an EF2 tornado tore through a small village in northwest Illinois on Friday, ripping down power lines and trees, stripping roofs and forcing officials to shut down the community.
The storm caused “extensive damage” throughout Lena, with trees and other debris blocking roadways and “compromised structures” causing hazardous conditions.
April 17 & 18 Illinois/Wisconsin Tornados
2:00 pm powerful storms initiated along the entire line, roughly along I-35 with two tornado watches being issued. However, a pair of supercells formed well ahead of the line in IA/IL/WI border in an environment marked with 100-200 m^2/s^2 of storm relative helicity and produced multiple strong tornadoes in northern Illinois and Wisconsin, including an EF2 tornado near Lena, Illinois around 3:30 pm CDT and an EF1 tornado near Janesville, Wisconsin later after
5:00 pm. Further north in Wisconsin, another cluster of supercells ahead of the line produced an EF3 tornado near Wausau, heavily damaging several homes.

This donation program provides local Emergency Management teams the crucial supplies needed to set-up safe sheltering options for its
citizens’ pets during an evacuation. No longer do pet owners need to risk staying harm’s way. With AKC Pet Disaster Relief, people can
have a safe place to take their pets.

Our Goals
In our commitment to giving back to the canine community, we are pleased to announce that we will donate our lure services to several fundraising Fast CAT events throughout the year.
The proceeds generated from these events will be generously contributed to support vital causes, including The AKC Pet Disaster Relief, which provides essential assistance and support to pets and their families affected by natural disasters and emergencies, and our primary fundraiser. Once our goal of obtaining two disaster relief trailers is met, we will continue to raise funds for: Take The Lead, an organization dedicated to providing direct services, support, and care for all qualified participants in the sport of dogs who suffer from the devastating realities of life-threatening or terminal illnesses.
The AKC Canine Health Foundation, which is dedicated to improving the health and well-being of purebred dogs through research and education. And, local animal shelters providing care and resources to those in need,

AKC Reunite Disaster Relief Trailer Fast CAT Fundraiser
Making Progress
Fast & Fun is very grateful for the support shown this weekend for our 2026 AKC Reunite Disaster Relief Trailer Fast CAT Fundraiser at the Boone County Fairgrounds over the 4th of July weekend.
We are incredibly grateful to each and every one of the volunteers who made this event a success! None of the volunteers were local; each one had to find several days of accommodations, some even traveling over 10 hours. They had to find care for their pets left at home and take care of the dogs they brought while volunteering. They had to juggle their time and the dogs if they were showing, and they had to feed themselves every day (except for lunch). And that’s not all! They also entered their dogs in the Fast CATs and purchased raffle tickets. Fast & Fun is beyond grateful to have these wonderful individuals as part of our Fast & Fun family.
Thank you DeKalb Kennel Club for your support and the Summer Time Fun Cluster for charging us just
a fraction of the costs to use the grounds during the all breed show!
A massive thank you to everyone who came out to show your support and ran your dogs! Thanks to this week’s fundraiser, we’ve already achieved 40% of our goal!

Fast & Fun Dogs
Day of Entries
Most clubs we work with offer "day of" entires. It's always a better to pre-enter but, if you find yourself looking to come out and play just reach out to the event secretary to see what's the best time a day for a day -of entry to come and run.
Fun Runs
Most club we work with offer Fun Runs. Fun Runs are the best way to introduce your pup to the game.
Fun Runs have relaxed rules so your pup learn. Dogs of any age, breed, registered or not, can try Fun Runs.
Some of the best times to try Fun Runs are around 10:30 am and after 2:30 pm. but are offered all day.
